Toru came from Japan in 1994 after selling his training stable.  Since living in the United States, Toru worked for West Fork Ranch in Fort Worth, TX.  While at this working cattle ranch, Toru rode saddle broncs and bulls.  He also worked at Stone Canyon Ranch in Castlerock, CO where he trained reining horses.  He gained more reining horse experience when he worked for Scott McCutcheon in Whitesboro, TX.

Toru now specializes in training for aged events, showing, sales, and export.

Toru's accomplishments include:  qualifying for the AQHA World Show, NRBC finalist, NRHA Derby finalist, SWRHA Futurity finalist, NRHA Futurity money earner, and 2004 All Japan Western Championship (JWRA/JRHA) Open Champion.
